A lot of my Brand Spotlight posts feature brands that are modern and stay up to date with current fashion trends, but are also affordable. Today’s post is no different. Mango is a great place to shop when you want to try out the latest trends without spending way too much money. As I was browsing Mango’s website for this post, it seemed like all of the pieces I was choosing had some sort of statement sleeves. That makes perfect sense because the detailed sleeves that were big in 2016 are going to stick around and be a big trend for this spring also. So while Mango has plenty of pieces that I’m loving, I naturally gravitated to the three above. The pink puffed sleeved blouse knocks out two major trends for spring 2017…the color pink and the detailed sleeves. The asymmetric blouse is slightly more dressy and would be the perfect piece for a date night or a girls night out. And the flare sleeve dress is just darling and seems so airy and light…I totally want it in my dress rotation for those warmer months. All of these pieces are under $60! So if you’re looking to add some new trendy pieces to your closet, I recommend checking out Mango.
1. Topshop Moto Jeans 2. H&M Faux Fur Coat 3. Topshop Metallic Heel Bootie 4. Treasure & Bond Sweatshirt Dress 5. J. Crew Gingham Shirt 6. Adidas Hoodie 7. Mango Bomber Jacket 8. J. Crew Toothpick Jean 9. Rebecca Minkoff Metallic Clutch 10. J. Crew Striped T-Shirt Turtleneck
I love wearing neutrals…especially in the winter. Having plenty of neutrals to choose from makes it easy to mix and match and to layer up. I know we already have a few cold weather months under our belt but we still have a couple left, so if you are looking for some more versatile pieces to add to your wardrobe this season, I’ve rounded up my favorites that are all under $100. I’m really into trying to find pieces I want for the best deals, so this H&M faux fur jacket caught my eye immediately. It looks so luxe, but get this. It’s on sale for $60! Any of the pieces above can be styled so many different ways, and at under $100, they are more than worth their money.
Happy Shopping! xoxo
I am not what you would call a beauty junkie. Until a few years ago, I didn’t pay too much attention to the beauty products I bought. But as I get older, I realize more and more how important they are to keep you looking your best. While I still go for a more natural look when it comes to beauty, I have been adding more products to my rotation. Below, I’ve rounded up my favorite products I’ve recently begun using, as well as products that I want to start using in this new year.
All of these, are products I have just started using within the past year or two. I never wore makeup on my face, other than concealer and an occasional powder, until I found this NARS tinted moisturizer. It is perfect for me because it is so light, yet it still provides the perfect amount of coverage. I put it on using the BeautyBlender sponge for even application. The contour kit is the newest addition and I’m still learning how to use it…I’m telling you, these things don’t come naturally to me. I have been watching how-tos on YouTube and the couple of times I’ve used it, I’ve loved the subtle difference it made to my overall look.
These are the products I want to use starting in this new year. The Living Proof Volume Blast, I have heard such great things about and it is just what my hair needs. I am also very excited to try the lash enhancing serum, because I would love to have longer, fuller lashes. The Dior Nail Glow is a product I’ve wanted for a while and I’m not really sure why I haven’t scooped it up yet. It instantly brightens your nails and I absolutely love the way it makes them look.
