A lot of my Brand Spotlight posts feature brands that are modern and stay up to date with current fashion trends, but are also affordable. Today’s post is no different. Mango is a great place to shop when you want to try out the latest trends without spending way too much money. As I was browsing Mango’s website for this post, it seemed like all of the pieces I was choosing had some sort of statement sleeves. That makes perfect sense because the detailed sleeves that were big in 2016 are going to stick around and be a big trend for this spring also. So while Mango has plenty of pieces that I’m loving, I naturally gravitated to the three above. The pink puffed sleeved blouse knocks out two major trends for spring 2017…the color pink and the detailed sleeves. The asymmetric blouse is slightly more dressy and would be the perfect piece for a date night or a girls night out. And the flare sleeve dress is just darling and seems so airy and light…I totally want it in my dress rotation for those warmer months. All of these pieces are under $60! So if you’re looking to add some new trendy pieces to your closet, I recommend checking out Mango.
I have talked about my love of Nordstrom before. They have just about anything you could want or need, so it’s usually the first place I go when I’m looking for something specific. Another reason I love Nordstrom so much is because of the variety of brands they carry. They carry everything from high-end designers to more affordable private labels. Halogen is one of my favorites of these private labels. They carry casual-chic pieces that are high quality and at a great price point. Above are my current favorites from Halogen right now. I love anything blush and these lace-up flats are just so pretty. Also very pretty, is this lace inset sweater which adds a touch of femininity to any outfit. My absolute favorite dress that I own is the side ruched dress from this post. I love ruched dresses so much…they are so flattering. I’ve been looking to add another one to my closet, so this turtleneck version above might be the one. This wool hooded cape just looks so cozy and is both casual and on-trend. Plus, you can never have too many jackets, right?

Uniqlo is a Japanese brand that focuses on quality, casual clothing for everyday life. The best part about this brand is that, although they are considered a fast fashion retailer, they maintain high end quality while keeping their prices low. This is a great place to shop for basics and neutrals to build your wardrobe. A few of my favorite Uniqlo pieces for fall are linked above. Also on my wish list: this long cardigan, this flannel shirt, and this bowler hat.
