A lot of my Brand Spotlight posts feature brands that are modern and stay up to date with current fashion trends, but are also affordable. Today’s post is no different. Mango is a great place to shop when you want to try out the latest trends without spending way too much money. As I was browsing Mango’s website for this post, it seemed like all of the pieces I was choosing had some sort of statement sleeves. That makes perfect sense because the detailed sleeves that were big in 2016 are going to stick around and be a big trend for this spring also. So while Mango has plenty of pieces that I’m loving, I naturally gravitated to the three above. The pink puffed sleeved blouse knocks out two major trends for spring 2017…the color pink and the detailed sleeves. The asymmetric blouse is slightly more dressy and would be the perfect piece for a date night or a girls night out. And the flare sleeve dress is just darling and seems so airy and light…I totally want it in my dress rotation for those warmer months. All of these pieces are under $60! So if you’re looking to add some new trendy pieces to your closet, I recommend checking out Mango.

Luckily for me, and for any other lady out there who adores this color, pink is one of the major fashion trends having a moment right now. Whether it’s blush or hot pink, this feminine color was seen all over the runways for 2016-2017. I couldn’t be happier about this, because pink is one of my favorite colors and an ultra feminine style is one of my favorites to rock. The Topshop bomber jacket and the velvet cami are great pieces for incorporating multiple trends at once (pink, bomber jackets, and velvet…all huge this year). The Topshop wrap dress and the J. Crew flats are perfect pieces if you’re going for a more subtle pink look. Whichever you prefer, if you’re looking for something to make you pretty in pink, there is something for you above. If you follow fashion even the littlest bit, then you undoubtedly know that velvet is one of the biggest trends this fall. Not only does this thick fabric keep you warm, but it is also so soft to the touch. There is just something so luxe and sexy about this fabric, that it’s no wonder it’s having such a big moment. Every time I hear the word velvet, I think of the song, “Black Velvet,” by Alannah Myles. In fact, I have been singing it in my head the entire time I have been working on this post. I actually wrote about this back in this post. Velvet has been around forever, but this season, designers are really taking it to the next level with pastel-colored ballet flats and pleated midi skirts. Take a look at some of my favorite velvet pieces above and click on the links if you want to shop them. Tuesdays are for shopping…if you please.
