Happy New Year Everyone! I hope 2016 has gotten off to a great start for you already. It has been a nice break but I’m ready to get back into the swing of things.
I have a ton of dresses in my closet, but most of them tend to be more on the casual side. I just don’t usually buy fancy dresses for myself, because I know I will not wear them many times. Still, sometimes occasions arise that call for a nice dress and I am left choosing from the few “fancy” dresses that I own, which sometimes gets a little boring. For New Years Eve, I decided to change it up with a fun new dress…enter Rent the Runway. Why would I go out and spend all of my Christmas money to buy a new dress when I could just rent one? I am so in love with this Nicole Miller lace V dress and it ended up being the perfect option for NYE! The long sleeves were perfect for the cold weather and the dress ended up being comfortable, sexy and classy at the same time.
Over here, at My Closet and Hers, we are not strangers to Rent the Runway. You can see the last time I rented from them in this post, and you can see when my sister rented from them in this post. In case any if you are interested (and I hope you are because it is great), here is how it works:
~Go to renttherunway.com and search from thousands of styles from the best designers.
~Choose the dress, size and time frame you want to rent (You even get to choose a complimentary backup size in case the first one doesn’t fit).
~They mail you your choice on the day you specified. After 4 or 8 days (whichever time frame you choose), put your items in a UPS drop box or store and you’re done. Rent the Runway pays the return shipping and dry cleaning!
