We ended up getting a lot of snow here in Richmond so we were stuck at home for three days. We had so much fun; on top of all of the traditional snow day activities, we also made chocolate snow cream, “painted” in the snow, and went 4 wheeling through the neighborhood! It was great, but after three days of being stranded at home, we were ready, and finally able to, get out of the house for a bit yesterday evening. We didn’t do anything crazy, but we did go out for an early dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, and let me tell you…it felt really good to be out in civilization. I even got to wear real clothes. I recently picked up this plaid flannel shirt and this grey tote bag from Old Navy. I love a good plaid shirt in the winter….it can be worn alone or layered under a sweater. When the weather starts to heat up a little, I plan on wearing this shirt with white denim and some cute sandals. This bag is a great neutral bag that can be worn with anything and it is the perfect size to hold all of my essentials without being too bulky. To top off the outfit, I threw on my red coat…the vibrance of this coat always makes me happy and I immediately felt energized when I put it on. I actually received this coat as a gift a few years ago, but I was very excited to see that it is currently sold at Modcloth! It is linked above.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Happy Monday! xoxo
