I call this post “sleeping in” because on the morning these pictures were taken, I woke up later than I wanted to. But let’s be honest, my kids wake up by 6:30 everyday, therefore I am always up early. No, for me “sleeping in” is when I do not wake up before my children in order to shower and get ready for the day. On these days, I am forced to get ready with super speed so I can rush downstairs to feed hungry bellies. I know all of you mothers out there know exactly what I’m talking about.
On this “late” morning, I reached for this super soft slouchy tee, thinking I would throw it on with cutoff shorts and sandals; however, at the last minute I remembered we were going to have a relatively cool day again. Seriously, the high was in the seventies…in August! So, I put on distressed jeans and booties and put my hair in a low ponytail and I was done. On mornings like this, it is so tempting to want to throw on sweats but having a variety of casual, yet cute, pieces to mix and match really makes getting dressed in the morning a breeze.
