I have never been someone who adds accessories to my hair. On the days I wash my hair, I usually just add waves and leave it alone and on the days I don’t wash it, I throw it into a low side ponytail or braid, never adding anything to it. But with festival season right around the corner, I have been seeing all kinds of boho looks popping up and lots of hair accessories. I have to say, I love the look of a headband thrown into some messy hair, but for some reason never really thought I could pull it off. As I was in the checkout line at Loft a few days ago, this headband caught my eye and I thought, “Eh, why not?” And I’m glad I did because it was the perfect accessory for a casual outfit and an unwashed hair day. After getting ready, my five year old daughter looked at me and said, “Crazy hair don’t care.” That’s my girl.

Now on to the Featured 5 from last week:
This blog post was one I had read awhile back so I was pleased when Sheree linked it up. Of course I had to feature it because the truth about blogging is not all peaches and cream. The reality is… well read for yourself.
I couldn’t stop laughing at this post. Yes this truly happens to all fashion bloggers. Thanks for sharing Ashley.
I love seeing the denim dress trend lately for Spring, but adding red touches like Kim did is such a cute idea.
This may be a very helpful read for many of you scrambling to get your taxes done before Friday, April 15 (a few days for now). This is a guest post from an Enrolled Agent to help serve individuals and businesses before the IRS. You may find some good tips in here.
I love reading Sheela’s profound messaged (slash) style posts but this one really hit home. So my question is are you in that rat race? See what I mean here.
